Rare Monsters (RM-01 to RM-05)
ATH
The Rare Monsters (RM-01 to RM-05) are the ATH Codex's five hybrid-threat taxonomies — organisms whose chemical-biological fusion makes them disproportionately destructive relative to their frequency. They sit alongside the standard organism registries (A/Bc/F/L/MS/BX/Zo) but are treated as special cases requiring bespoke protocols, exemplified by polymer-digesting fungi such as Aureobasidium consuming uPVC, or lipid-shielded Trentepohlia. The RM family captures the edge-cases where ordinary remediation fails and the COSMOS engine must escalate.
