Vector Space Model

TECH

Matching the right technician to the right job sounds simple, but we do it with the same kind of maths that powers modern search — representing skills and protocols as data and measuring how well they align. The Vector Space Model is that method, working quietly behind the scenes so the person who turns up is genuinely the right fit for your property's problem.

A vector space model represents entities as numerical vectors so that their similarity and alignment can be measured geometrically. In ATH (WP10) it is the method behind Cognitive Transfer Efficiency: practitioner competencies and protocol requirements are encoded as vectors, and their proximity quantifies how well a given Scholar-Technician is matched to a given intervention — surfacing training gaps and ensuring the right person executes the right P-Code. It is the same family of mathematics that underpins modern semantic search, applied to operational competence.
