Accessibility

Accessible to everyone

How we make our website and services accessible, and how to get help.

We want everyone to be able to use our website and services, whatever their disability, health condition, age or confidence with technology.

1. Our website

Our website is built on Wix. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Some parts — particularly the booking calendar, basket and checkout, which are provided by Wix — may not yet fully meet this standard.

2. Other ways to book and contact us

If any part of the website is difficult to use, you can book, cancel, make a complaint or ask a question by phone or email instead:

We reply within 5 working days.

3. Our documents

Our Service Agreement is published in two editions with identical terms: an Explained Edition with plain-English notes, and a Terms Only Edition. If you need any document in another format, or would like its key terms explained by phone, contact us.

4. Our services

If you need us to do anything differently because of a disability or health condition — for example more time to answer the door, contact by text instead of phone, or dealing with a family member or carer you nominate — tell us when you book. (Service Agreement clause 5.8)

5. Review

We review this statement every year.

Download a copy and test it. You are welcome to download a copy of this document and review it with an AI assistant, a solicitor or anyone you trust. If you have any concerns or questions about anything in it, please let us know at info@shiningwindows.co.uk or on 01604 263189 — we would rather hear from you before you book than after.
