Building Safety Act 2022 (Golden Thread)

The Building Safety Act 2022 introduced the 'Golden Thread' — the requirement to create and maintain a continuous, accurate, structured digital record of a building's safety-critical information across its whole life. In the ATH framework it is the statutory anchor for the data layer: the asset records, condition grades and intervention histories that the COSMOS engine and digital twins produce map directly onto Golden Thread obligations, turning forensic stewardship data into regulatory compliance and underpinning the per-service Method Statements that FM procurement now demands.
