Ionic displacement
TECH
Ionic Displacement (protocol P3) is the core pure-water cleaning mechanism: ultra-purified, de-ionised (0 ppm) water is chemically 'hungry' and dissolves contamination by ionic attraction and hypotonic solvency, drawing dirt and loosely-bound biofilm off the surface without detergents or abrasion. Because the water carries no minerals it dries spot-free and leaves no residue, and because it works by displacement rather than force it is safe on soft stone, glazing and seals. It is the workhorse of the non-destructive Sovereign Protocols and the basis of reach-and-wash glazing care.
