Lindblad Master Equation
INFRA
The Lindblad master equation is the standard physics for the time-evolution of an open quantum system — one exchanging energy with its environment — describing how coherent states decay (decohere). ATH uses it to model the coherence-amplitude decay of energy states within a mature biofilm: applying Lindblad dynamics, the framework estimates that where coherence persists beyond ~300 femtoseconds the biofilm sustains a Quantum Coherence Modifier of 1.2–1.5 (partial coherence) and near-perfect transfer efficiency. It is the mathematical engine behind the QCM metric.
