Lithic Neural Network activation function
DT
We are building toward systems that reason about stone and substrate the way a network of expert knowledge would — weighing many signals at once and 'firing' a diagnosis when accumulated stress crosses a threshold. The Lithic Neural Network is that machine-learning layer of our framework: the route to faster, sharper diagnosis as the data grows.
The Lithic Neural Network is the ATH's neuro-symbolic architecture for reasoning over stone and substrate — a model that treats the building's materials and their code-families as nodes in a network, with an activation function determining when accumulated biological and chemical stress 'fires' a diagnosed pathology or triggers an intervention. Set out in Volume IX alongside market-authority and neuro-symbolic stewardship concepts, it is the machine-learning layer that lets the COSMOS engine learn and generalise from the M-Code and organism registries rather than apply fixed rules.
