Master Substrate Registry (M-Codes)
ATH
The Master Substrate Registry (M-Codes) is the ATH Codex volume that quantifies the substrate — the catalogue of building materials as biological and chemical hosts. It establishes the neuro-symbolic bridge that lets the COSMOS logic engine translate physical decay into machine-readable data, cataloguing the order of 250 M-Codes (with around 200 paired COMP- composite codes) spanning stone, brick, render, timber, metal, glass and polymer fabric. Each M-Code carries the substrate's vulnerability attributes (feeding the SVI) and its interaction behaviour with the organism registries, so a property's real construction — not a generic surface — drives the diagnosis and the chosen protocol.
